Nursing Facility- Acute/Skilled and long term care Operating 24 hours/day Job Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Social Services to join our team.
As the Director of Social Services, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our social services department.
This is a leadership role that requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for helping individuals with developmental disabilities.
Duties - Develop and implement social service programs to meet the needs of individuals who reside in our facility.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure the integration of social services into overall care plans - Conduct assessments and develop individualized care plans for residents - Monitor resident progress and make necessary adjustments to care plans as needed - Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards - Oversee budgeting and financial management for the social services department Skills To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Strong background in social work or related field - Proven experience in program management and development - Excellent administrative and organizational skills - Strong relationship management skills - Perform administrative requirements, such as completing necessary forms, reports, etc.
