Bailey Creek Health and Rehab is currently looking for an experienced Certified Dietary Manager to be a Director of Food Services.
As a Director of Food Services / Certified Dietary Manager, you are delegated the authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary for carrying out your assigned duties.
The primary duties of this job include:
Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the Dietary Department, its programs and activities.
Coordinate dietary services and activities with other related departments (i.
e.
, Nursing, Housekeeping, Social Services, etc.
).
Conducting scheduled performance evaluations for each level of dietary personnel as directed.
Interpret the department's policies and procedures to employees, patients, visitors, government agencies, etc.
, as necessary.
Monitor the dietary staff for adherence to departmental policies and procedures.
Perform administrative duties such as completing necessary forms, reports, audits, studies, etc.
, to assure control of equipment and supplies.
Complete dietary assessments and MDS Knowledge of scheduling Well organized with strong time management skills Experience/Education Must be a Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) Must have experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, skilled nursing care facility, or other related medical facility.
